Audio Input / Output
Microphone / Input
By default, SportStream Camera will use your device's microphone for audio input. You can attach external audio sources (for example, a headset microphone, USB audio receiver, etc.) into your device, and the app should switch to that audio source automatically.
If you have an external audio input connected, but you would like to use your device's built in microphone, you can switch to it from the Audio settings screen.
When using the Remote deck feature on a second device, that device can be used as an external audio input for the app. When using this feature, the audio from the second device acts as a second audio input, so both the main device's audio input and the audio from the remote device will output to the stream.
Audio Level Indicator
The Audio settings page includes a green bar which indicates the current input level from the input source. If you can see the green bar moving/bouncing, that means the app is receiving audio from the selected input.
Monitoring Output
You can monitor the audio that is being streamed by connecting a headset or wireless headphones to your device. By default, the audio monitoring is miuted when no external audio device is connected for playback.
You can select the "Speaker" option under the "Audio Monitoring" heading to enable the built in speaker. Note that this will likely result in feedback, but this can be used to test audio. In most cases, you do not want the audio to be played back on the device speakers while the microphone is active.
